On 04 Oct 2016, Government issued Decree 139/2016/NĐ-CP regulating license tax. Accordingly, from 01 Jan 2017, license tax for business establishments:
- Business establishments have charter capital or investment capital more 10 billion VND: 3,000,000 VND/year;
- Business establishments have charter capital or investment capital equal or less 10 billion VND: 2.000.000 VND/year;
- Branches, representative offices, business places, administration units, other economic organizations: 1.000.000 VND/year.
License tax for them regulated at point a and point b of this clause basing on charter capital stated in business registration certificate; in case, there is no charter capital, it bases on the capital stated in investment certificate.
